Daytona Bike Week 2019
Custom Chrome Europe visits Bike Week # 78
With 9 days of Customizing madness, Daytona Bike Week 2019 has attracted thousands of visitors, including members of Custom Chrome Europe's team to look for new parts, styles, ideas – renewing the contacts to present US-based manufacturers, many of which are present at Daytona's customizers displays!
CCE Purchasing Director Guenther Mueller and Stephan Burg (Vendor Relations and Product Line Specialist) went head-on into the busy Bike Week schedule of custom parts displays, bike-shows and races, held between Friday March 8th and Saturday March 16th in and around Daytona Beach. With sometimes up to three or four bike shows per day, spread over an area of 50 km up and down the US-1 or A1A on the Beach-side of Daytona, it was difficult to visit all, but the Custom Chrome Europe duo followed a tight timetable to visit some of CCE's important US-suppliers to see what is coming in the 2019 riding season, many of them based around the Daytona Beach area – or present with displays outside the Speedway and the Bruce Rossmeyer Harley-Davidson dealership at the crossing of US-1 and I-95, also the home of J&P Cycles East Coast warehouse. Here are a few impressions of this year’s events, bike-shows and ideas. As always in Daytona: Expect the unexpected – and the excess in customizing!
