Ready, steady Gooooo! Indian FTR 1200 premieres at INTERMOT!
Monday, October 1st 2018: Indian lifts the cover on FTR 1200 at INTERMOT in 3 model variations!
Following the impressive response on last year’s FTR study, uncovered at the 2017 EICMA, Indian pressed hard to get a street-legal version of the FTR 1200. With the FTR 750 Racer running a successful second season on American Dirt Tracks, the FTR 1200 is as close to the genuine Dirt Track bike as it can be – while being a homologated street bike for road-use. Besides universal fitting parts, naturally, Custom Chrome Europe at the time of the introduction has no parts for the brand-new FTR 1200 in stock (CCE Managing Director Andreas Scholz already followed the development because he would like to see one in his garage – or the 2019 BOAR fleet), but CCE's ever-increasing number of Indian custom parts is continuously expanding: 2016 saw the Scout "Sixty" privately customized by CCE East Europe Sales Rep Marcel Masaryk, who presented the Kuryakyn-Scout at Croatia Bike Week, Faak and INTERMOT, in 2017, SK-Bikes in Bad Kreuznach added "Spyke", a full-blown custom Bobber "Scout" to the 2017 "Bolt On and Ride" fleet, using the John Shope „Sprint Signature Series“, RevTech and TXT parts in the process! No doubt that CCE will watch the sales of the FTR 1200 closely – and many CCE partners are already at work to create design parts for this cool ride! As for the existing "Scout" models for which CCE already offers plenty of accessories and parts!
